Ongoing process…

In response to the Sunset Park community and stakeholder’s interest, UPROSE is using this online space to publish the most recent community presentation and draft of The GRID proposal, and a living FAQ document. As we continue to work with POWWA, our consultants and allies to further refine the proposal, we will continue to actively engage community members and stakeholders to assess strategies to to advance the implementation of this alternative to achieve a Just Transition for Sunset Park; the City’s largest Significant Maritime & Industrial Area (SMIA).
